The Footstool is the first product of three in the new Formi range, being released in 2026. Designed to support comfort and better posture during breast/bottle feeding. Developed with engagement from a physiotherapy specialist and lactation consultant and parents; refinement, prototyping and iteration saw the optimisation of ergonomic support, softness and style.

The footstool features a gentle rocking motion inspired by traditional rocking chairs, for intuitive adjustment and ease of use. The result supports a neutral feeding position; enhancing comfort, connection and the overall feeding experience.

Formi Footstool was awarded Most Innovative Brand or Product at the Kiindred Baby & Toddler Awards 2025.

The project was completed in 2025 with Vert Design Sydney, Formi and Soft Serve Studio for further CMF development, packaging design and EVA manufacturing support.
